The
objective of Geological and Seismic studies are to determine
the geologic and seismic conditions at a given area.
These conditions may include the following:
- Soil
type and engineering properties of the site materials.
- Susceptibility
of geologic hazards at a site, such as: landslides, shrink-swell
potential, subsidence, debris flow, rock falls, erosion,
liquefaction, and seismic shaking.
- Location
of active and potentially active faults in relationship
to study area.
- Probability
and extent of groundshaking caused by faults affecting
the study area.
Our experience
conducting geological and seismic studies helps aid our clients
in evaluating a particular site for geologic or seismic hazards.
