Walt is a founding partner of Rincon Consultants and is in charge of the company’s site assessment and remediation group. With over 20 years of professional experience, Walt is a seasoned veteran at conducting assessment and remediation projects throughout California. He designs and implements remediation systems for underground storage tank sites, solvent releases, heavy metal contamination, and pesticide remediation projects. Not only does Walt work on large-scale projects for government and industry, he has built a steady client base with smaller, independent companies that trust and understand his commitment to his work. He is considered an expert on contamination-related matters and is regularly called upon to provide expert witness testimony in state and federal courts. Walt has also conducted oil field audits in California, Ecuador, Mexico and Venezuela. In addition, Walt manages Rincon’s geology services division. These projects include geologic hazard studies, seismic studies, and fault hazard evaluations. He has performed seismic ground acceleration modeling for sites in China, Croatia, Indonesia, New Zealand, Saudia Arabia and Trinidad.
