Rincon
Receives Statewide Award for Outstanding Environmental
Document. The California Chapter of the Association
of Environmental Professionals (AEP) selected a Rincon
Consultants report as the "Outstanding Environmental
Resource Document for Jurisdictions under 50,000 Population."
The award was presented at the group's statewide conference
in Sacramento in May. The study, entitled "The
Templeton-Atascadero Bikeway Constraints Report,"
was prepared for the County of San Luis Obispo Parks
and Recreation Department, and will be used to select
optimal alignments for development of a multi-purpose
trail linking the two north San Luis Obispo County communities.

Rincon
Announces Promotions to Principal. Rincon has announced
the promotion of Joe
Power, AICP and John
Rickenbach, AICP to the status of Principal. They
will have the primary responsibility of overseeing a wide
range of planning, environmental analysis, and permitting
activities.

wins APA Award of Merit. The City of Paso Robles 2003
General Plan won an Award of Merit from the Central Coast
Section of the American Planning Association (APA). John
Rickenbach, operations manager of Rincon's San Luis Obispo
office, spearheaded the project. The Plan provides a unified
approach to the City's General Plan for the first time.
