3-D Modeling, Shadow Modeling

The process of photosimulation is an effective visualization technique, which may be used to illustrate the effect of a proposed project within the context of the immediate site vicinity. The technique involves using a combination of modeling and image editing software to superimpose a 3-D model of the project into a 2-D photograph of the site. The end result is an image that conveys the potential future aesthetic conditions of a site and its vicinity, if a project were constructed.
