Templeton-Atascadero Bikeway Constraints Analysis - County of San Luis Obispo

Rincon Consultants conducted an environmental constraints analysis for several potential alignments of a Class I multi-use path that would extend from the community of Templeton to the City of Atascadero between US Highway 101 and the Salinas River, adjacent to an existing Union Pacific Railroad line. The analysis focused on constraints related to biological resources (sensitive species, creek crossings), cultural resources, highway and rail safety, drainage, agricultural resources, and hazardous wastes. Rincon designed the constraints analysis to facilitate decision-making as to the appropriate recreational trail alignment.
