High Rise Residential Development - UST Site Assessment and Remediation - Private Client

Rincon Consultants completed Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments encompassing one city block in the Core neighborhood of downtown San Diego. The project site included three former gasoline stations, a dry cleaner, undocumented fill contaminated with lead, and up to seven feet of free product gasoline floating on the groundwater. A Remedial Action Plan was then completed for the project. As part of the RAP, Rincon prepared a Health Risk Assessment for the proposed project.

Rincon conducted remediation concurrently during grading of six levels of underground parking. Remediation of undocumented fill and petroleum contaminated soil from three former gasoline stations was completed and the site was given environmental closure.
