an entry level Environmental Planner to assist with
the production of planning and environmental studies in
accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act
(CEQA), the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), and
other planning and environmental laws. Positions are available
is in the company's Ventura and Carlsbad offices. Duties
include research, fieldwork, and writing necessary to develop
planning and environmental documentation in compliance with
applicable regulatory requirements. This position requires
a minimum of a bachelor's degree in urban planning, environmental
sciences, or a related field. Experience preparing environmental
and planning documentation is preferred, but not required.

experience, strong analytical, writing, and problem-solving
skills, and be motivated to pursue a professional career
with an innovative and growing company (offices also in
Ventura and San Luis Obispo). The ideal candidate will have
knowledge and experience in the field identification of
plants and wildlife, map reading, and field survey techniques.
Experience with CEQA/NEPA, regulatory permitting (e.g. 404/401/1602),
and preparation of biological documentation is preferred.
Educational and professional achievement in the environmental
sciences, biological science, or related fields is required;
advanced degrees are preferred.
